What do Olympic gymnast Simone Biles and our own B&W Companion hitch have in common? 

Quite a bit, actually.  Both are strong, reliable, and all-American, but most importantly, they can both bring home the gold!

The Name of the Game: RV Olympics 

The Trailer Life Annual Reader’s Choice Awards Program is comparable to an Olympic competition in the RV world.  During this annual competition, Trailer Life magazine invites its readers to vote on the best RV products in the industry.   The magazine then presents gold, silver, and bronze awards to the top three reader-selected products in each of the 25+ categories.  In 2015, 2016, and 2017, Trailer Life readers voted our B&W Companion hitch as the Gold Award Winner in the fifth wheel hitch category.   We’re hoping to reclaim that title again in 2018. 

An Unexpected Honor 

To say that we never anticipated this award is a gross understatement; receiving an honor like this was not even on our radar! 

Beth Barlow, marketing manager, explained it best:

Excited? You Betcha. Big heads? Think again. 

Product critics and magazine writers did not vote for our hitches; it was you, our customers, who awarded us these two gold awards.  You have bought, used, and trusted our products and we are grateful for your confidence.  We promise to do our best to live up to this gold standard.

Game Plan: Tried and True Values, Through and Through 

So, what’s our game plan to reclaim the gold title again this year? 

The answer is simple: keep producing innovative, quality hitches that give you a smooth, worry-free ride every time.  But when it comes down to it, winning isn’t truly what we’re after; we care most about giving our customers quality hitches and excellent service that they can depend on.  

If winning comes along with that, well, that’s just a bonus.
